We have teamed up with the sponsors of National Fitness Day which is always on the first Saturday of May. This day offers an opportunity to rethink and renew your fitness and health. Anyone can participate and there are plenty of ways to celebrate it. It can be something that you do by yourself or with friends and family. It can last a few minutes to give you a kick start for a long range plan or it could be a full workout. It is a great way to start or change your wellness routine. We have a toolkit full of exciting information in running or hosting an event. The toolkit will also have unique ideas to possibly give you a fresh new perspective. We will provide locations and after it is said and done you can post your stories. You can register online. If you don’t see anything that interests you or are too far away from structured events you can create your own event.
Think of new ways like changing your daily route, adding more time to your walk, trying a new and healthy recipe, doing yoga, unplugging your electronics for a day, getting more sleep, challenging your friends, etc. We will provide social media promotional advertising and be using the hashtag #NationalFitnessDay.
